Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves:

Our Purpose

  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study,
  • to support the mission of the church worldwide,
  • to work for justice and peace, and
  • to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

Each Tuesday this group of Presbyterian Women meets from 8:30 to 11 a.m. to sew quilts for newborns, hospital gowns, children's dresses and blankets for missions. Their current project is to sew mosquito nets for children in Africa to help prevent malaria. All women are welcome to bring their sewing machines to the church and join in. Even if you have little or no sewing experience there are always ways you can help. Call Audrey Mitchell (362-1388)  or Nola Asher (633-5507) for further information.
